Bits and pieces i don't want to forget…. Despite having a cool summer full of LAME weather, I am ecstatic for the fall. The maple tree leaves are colorful and crunchy, the wind is a little crisper, cardigans are no longer just a handy layer but a necessary accoutrement, and, perhaps happiest of all, it is time for SOUPS. Bits and pieces i don't want to forget…. It is high time we reinstated our traditional game of cute/disgusting. I’ll start off the new year right…by jumping back in time about 100 years:. For a while, I’ve been interested in this artist, Aubrey Beardsley, who was a sickly aesthete who ran around with Oscar Wilde. I wouldn’t describe any of his work as “cute”, really, more so gross or disturbing. anyway, here is the one i like the most, an illustration for Wilde’s. This one gross but silly. And I like it.
