Adventures in designing and building a tsunami-proof boat. July 2, 2015. Boy, I could have sworn that I used 16 foot 4x4s on the scaffolding. This was the launching off point for my “how to spin the boat” problem solving. I was so sure of it… I never gave it away second thought. Well, I did use 16 footers, but those were the spans.
