This past Sunday was the 44th running of the Cherry Blossom 10 Mile Run. As I have for many of my years in DC, I spent the 10 weeks prior to it in training mode, gearing up to run a race that I’ve come to love. I’d mentioned last week that my blood pressure was high. I kept an eye on it Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. I even had the school nurse check me out a few times (I need to explain that to my principal tomorrow). Good thing I did, because I still got a higher reading at the doctor’s office Tuesday afternoon. How far along: 37 weeks. Have a great day!
