We are breeding and riding Quarter Horses at Tall Timbers. Quarter horses is an American breed of horse that excels in sprinting short distances and has the talent to spin around and change direction at high speed. Its name came from its ability to outdistance other horse breeds at races of a quarter of a mile or less The Quarter horse is very quick of the mark in order to do so they have very muscular hindquarters and are very agile. Some individuals have been clocked at speeds of up to 88.5km/h.

Tall Timbers is a bird paradise. Our home is flocked with parrots and on any given day more than forty parrots of different species are visiting our garden. The icon of Tall Timbers is definitely the Kookaburra and its unmistakable call can be heard from 03h00 in the morning until dusk. One cannot also miss the call of the Southern Boobook owl which announce its presence every night. We want to develop Tall Timbers to its full potential and to protect the wildlife and beautiful forest on Tall Timbers.
