Percy Shaw* I shake my fist at thee. I did also change handlebars to 3T Ventus II, but not on advice. I am building a training bike so I needed a second set of bars. I did have my first proper crash at the weekend, whilst out training with my friend Justin. Apparently, damp roundabouts are not to be taken on the tri-bars at race speed. Who knew? March 8, 2014. Here’s a few pictures from the last race of the season at Beacon Fell is summer and mild conditions. Pretty boggy but a great race as always. Pre-race in the pits. Me looking relaxed during the vets race helping out in the pits with the other Horwich CC riders. A lot of focus was needed when descending. December 4, 2013. Posting on the cross season has been a bit more of a struggle this season. I’ve struggled for much free time between racing, training and working, plus the odd trip away. With a couple of weeks of a beat I think now is a good time to get back onto reporting on the season. The last couple of races gave me some good results on courses which again didn’t really favour the bigger rider (pretty much like most races in the UK, but it wasn’t hard it wouldn’t be fun! Early Season Cross 2013.
