Walk and Fun Run attracted nearly 1,000 walkers and runners on the 4th of July in downtown Hillsboro and raised around $71,500 for cancer awareness and treatment programs. The Tuality Healthcare Foundation organized event served as a prelude to the annual Hillsboro Rotary Club 4th of July parade and took place in perfect weather with blue skies and temperatures in the 80s.
