Welcome to the Tucson Kennel Club! The Tucson Kennel Club was founded in 1929 under the name of Catalina Kennel Club. The founders’ intent was to promote purebred dogs; to educate the public in the care, purchase and training of dogs; and to hold AKC-sanctioned dog shows. The Catalina Kennel Club held their first show that same year. That show was also the first one held in the state of Arizona. Dog show was held in Reid Park in March 1995. November 12, 2015.
