Our winery was begun in August 2006 and was ready in time for the 2007 harvest. The winery was based on an old English barn in Windsor NSW and faithfully reproduced right down to the English Bond brickwork. The double brick building has a layer of Aircell insulation in the cavity which keeps the internal temperature at around 24 degrees celcius even on the hottest summer day.

Call in, relax, and sample some of our traditionally made wines. We are open from 10 am to 4 pm (most days). Tuesday 24th May 2016 to Monday 27th June 2016. If you are travelling some distance then it is best to ring and make an appointment. Traditional hand made wines in our own winery on the estate.

450 Mograni Creek Rd. We are 10 minutes out of Gloucester off the Buckets Way heading towards Taree. Take the second on the right (about 3 Km) and our gate is 4.5 Km down Mograni Creek Road, on the right. If you are coming from Taree we are just on the left after you pass the Mograni Lookout. Mograni Lookout is a good place to stop and view the beautiful Mograni Valley. You also get great views of Gloucester from here. Click the button to find out what's on in Gloucester.

Welcome to our web site. Tugwood Wines began in 1998 after a long and extensive search when we purchased 250 acres in the beautiful Mograni Valley just east of Gloucester. Starting with a bare block we planted our first experimental vines in 1999 to gauge which grape variety best suited our soil and climate. From the start it was obvious that Chambourcin and Chardonnay thrived on the gentle slope of rich loam soils under the shadow of Mount Mograni.
