Tuesday, August 30, 2011. Never Take Hearing for Granted! A blogreader recently shared this with me:. A man reached 80 years of age and he had an infection in his ears which made him almost deaf. The doctors informed him that an operation was necessary to cure this disease. He agreed to have the operation done as he couldn’t hear anything apart from the severe pain in the ears.
