On the 4th of August 2008 the Jones family (Debbie, Michael, Meghan, Sophie and Richard), Andrew Morrison, Anna Fulton and Irene Conlan reached the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, the highest mountain in Africa. There are two peaks the first - Gilman's Point is 5681 metres (over 19,000 feet) and the second Uhuru Peak is 5895 metres. They began their trek on the 30th of July 2008 in an effort to raise funds for Tuleeni. Taking the Rongai Route they took six days to summit and two to come down.

Holy Trinity Church, Bermuda. The congregation of Holy Trinity Church of Bermuda have been raising money to support Tuleeni. The Sunday School children have been most supportive of this project and have been very successful in their fundraising efforts. The Holy Trinity Church family continue to make regular collections to support Tuleeni.
