The Last Film Critic: Now Streaming on Netflix: Harry Brown and Kick-Ass
http://thelastfilmcritic.blogspot.com/2011/06/now-streaming-on-netflix.html
The Last Film Critic. Thursday, June 23, 2011. Now Streaming on Netflix: Harry Brown and Kick-Ass. Harry Brown (2010) 3 out of 4 stars. Michael Caine is great as always but he takes a bit of a back seat to the Harry Brown's reveling in the sordid goings on of its young hood antagonists. Dark, gritty and gratuitously stuffed with exploitation movie grotesqueries, Harry Brown is the sleaziest vigilante movie since 2007's Death Sentence. Kick-Ass (2010) 2-1/2 out of 4 stars. The Last Film Critic.

The Last Film Critic: Movie Review: Exporting Raymond

The Last Film Critic. Thursday, October 13, 2011. Movie Review: Exporting Raymond. 2 out of 4 stars. It was at about the seven or eight minute mark, as Rosenthal delighted in his elderly parents' confusion as they fumbled and stumbled through a computer slide show, that I had had enough of this bug-eyed nebbish's mugging and playing for the camera to last me for the remaining 79 minutes. The Last Film Critic: January 2011
http://thelastfilmcritic.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
The Last Film Critic. Sunday, January 30, 2011. Movie review - Blue Valentine. 4 out of 4 stars. Is a raw, powerfully-acted portrait of a marital arc that begins with a chance meeting and ends for no one reason in particular. Time just pushes this couple a little further away from one another with each passing year until every tiny thing in their lives becomes fodder for explosive, overemotional outbursts. It's a lower-key Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf. The Last Film Critic. Links to this post. Seem to ...

The Last Film Critic. Wednesday, June 24, 2009. New on DVD: Waltz With Bashir. Waltz With Bashir: 3 out of 4 stars. Writer-Director Ari Folman's animated autobiographical documentary is both a dark look at the unimaginable horrors of war as well as an introspective meditation on the protective fracturing of the mind when subjected to unspeakable trauma. The Last Film Critic: Movie review: Drive Angry
http://thelastfilmcritic.blogspot.com/2011/06/movie-review-drive-angry.html
The Last Film Critic. Thursday, June 2, 2011. Movie review: Drive Angry. 2 out of 4 stars. Nic Cage (in one of his worst hairpieces to date) stars as John Milton, a man who broke out of hell to avenge the death of his daughter and prevent the blood sacrifice of his baby granddaughter. Of course the buried lead in the story is that he ESCAPED. And not just escaped from hell either, the dude stole one of the devil's prized 5-barrel assault weapons on the way out! Wednesday, August 25, 2010. My Dog Tulip at Film Forum. JR Ackerley never considered himself a dog lover. Then, in middle-age, he adopted a beautiful, yet difficult 18-month-old German Shepherd. To his surprise, she became the love of his life. Ackerley recorded his man-and-beast love story in a 1956 memoir, which filmmakers Paul and Sandra Fierlinger have brought to life in "My Dog Tulip,".
