The Tullis Family: Squeezing It All In...
http://andy-jana.blogspot.com/2015/08/squeezing-it-all-in.html
Squeezing It All In. We have 2 weeks left before we head back to work so we are trying to squeeze in as much as we can, and have a little rest and relaxation, as well. These guys, and gal, have been visiting about every night. Emma earned a family ice skating trip so off we went. This was Abigail's first time on ice skates and she loved it! I hope that is a good indication of how she will like skiing this year. She was very dependent so Andy and I got quite the workout! We had some visitors that evening.

The Tullis Family: Lunch With the Sheriff
http://andy-jana.blogspot.com/2015/08/lunch-with-sheriff.html
Lunch With the Sheriff. Last week, Abigail and Emma each received a "Playin' It Safe" Subway gift card from some deputies of Summit County for wearing helmets while they were riding their bikes. We met the sheriff and the deputy chief at Five Guys for lunch today. They really strive to make an appearance in the public and want to be approachable. Emma made the sheriff a "thank you" card. The girls each got a patch and some stickers. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Want to see what I do during the day?

The Tullis Family: June 2015
http://andy-jana.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Our Vacation in the Midwest. Yesterday, the girls and I got back from our 2-week trip to MN and WI. We had a great time with family and friends and I loved that I got to see people I haven't seen in years! The girls did really well on the plane, too. I will let the many pictures do the talking. We had to make one last bathroom stop before boarding the plane. Abby likes to wave to everyone. Fun at the park. One day, we went to the Mall of America.always a must whenever we go back for a visit. After a few ...

Summer is in Full Swing! We got back from our trip to San Diego and Mexico last Monday (I will be posting those photos very soon. We are having some technical issues with the computer those pictures are on.) and our summer schedule has not slowed down. Emma started her swimming lessons this past week. Let the outdoor dinners begin! We love going to the outdoor concerts at Deer Valley! We got 2 strawberries from our greenhouse! Abby was trying to open a coke. And then we had to play at the park, of course!

The Tullis Family: Raspberry Days
http://andy-jana.blogspot.com/2015/08/raspberry-days.html
Last Wednesday, we went on our annual trip to Bear Lake for Raspberry Days. We rented a house with 3 other families instead of "roughing it" at the KOA like we did last year. Even though we had to cut our trip short by a day due to the flu, we still had a wonderful time. 1st stop: La Beau's for a raspberry shake. We even had a moose come by one evening. Hangin' at the beach. Somebody loves her bike helmet. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Want to see what I do during the day? Visit my class blog:.

The Tullis Family: Camping in the Uintas!
http://andy-jana.blogspot.com/2015/07/camping-in-uintas.html
Camping in the Uintas! This was our first weekend to get up camping in the Uintas and, as usual, it did not disappoint. We camped near the Wolf Creek Summit, at an elevation of about 9600 feet. Emma had fun practicing with her sling shot. Somebody got a little tired on our hike. The bath water is pretty dirty after our camping trips. Photo courtesy of Abigail. We did a little fishing at Mill Hollow Lake. I think we missed some rain showers by just a few miles. Awwgiving Sarah some love. 4th of July Fun!

The Tullis Family: August 2015
http://andy-jana.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Let the Games Begin! Last week was a big week for our family. Emma started kindergarten and Andy started his last fall semester of grad. school! It is such a wonderful feeling to know that Andy will graduate in May and our lives can get back to "normal.". She insisted on getting a picture of her backpack. This was Abby's first day back at daycare (August 17th). One of her best of friends- Hudson. We got in one more swim down at Papa and Grandma's house. She also has swim lessons every Thursday. I hear sh...

The Tullis Family: August 2014
http://andy-jana.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
It's Not All Fun and Games This Summer. We have done a lot of work around the house, too. Andy has made 4 trips to the Uintas to cut down firewood for this winter. Along with that comes hauling it to the backyard and getting it cut down into smaller pieces for the fireplace. Keeping the house clean is an ongoing project, but we do our best to keep it looking nice. The never-ending process of keeping the right sizes in drawers. Emma has been wanting to do "homework." We're not stopping her. The ostriches ...

The Tullis Family: May 2015

Oompa Loompas Go For a Run (Or Two). My first leg was a little over 3 miles. Here I am getting ready to hand off to the 2nd runner. It was a chilly day but perfect running weather. Waiting for the handoff for my 2nd leg. It's so fun how the race takes us all around Park City, including the Utah Olympic Park where ski jumping, luge, and bobsledding were held for the 2002 Winter Olympics. See those stairs on the right? That's me, getting ready to run up the stairs. Andy's exchange with another Oompa Loompa.

The Tullis Family: April 2015
http://andy-jana.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
It's hard to believe that we only have about 5 weeks of school left. Andy finished his 2nd semester of graduate school.only 3 more to go! He has a 2-week break before the summer semester starts up so we're going to take advantage of that extra time with Dad! Here are some photos of our cutie patooties:. Some nights, you just need to make dinnertime fun- making bagel pizzas! Bath time is always a hoot! Ben had a bunch of people over for a crawfish boil/feast. The nice weather means more time on the playset.
