This past Friday, I was fortunate to meet two incredible people who were staying with some friends in town. Adam and Christy Coppola are spending a calendar year traveling across all 50 states via bicycle. While Adam takes stunning photographs. Shall we start with pies again? The pie quintet is now an octet. Although honestly, Iris and I didn't really deserve pie aprons this year. Iris just sits around looking cute. Within seconds they blew my bah humbugginess down the hill to join the the smog nestled below in the San Gabriel Valley. But wait, is that tree outside? You ask. Yes, with the rest of the trees. That is. Leaf that adorable baby is hanging? Why yes. It is!

We've eaten them all, but a new crop is taking shape and looking pretty good. But have I mentioned how naughty Iris is with the avocados?
