TundraGarden

This is mostly about the ongoing saga of the Tundra Garden, which is the northernmost garden on the North American continent. Sunday, May 23, 2010. Moving TundraGarden to Wordpress. I'm moving the blog to Wordpress. It's not that I don't like it here, but I've got another blog over there that I needed more features for, and it's just easier to have them both there. It's hard enough to find time for blogging, and things really lapsed here after the loader made such a mess of the garden, but I'm back at it.

TundraGarden: Spring arrives on the wings of snowbirds

http://tundragarden.blogspot.com/2008/04/well-it-has-been-while.html

This is mostly about the ongoing saga of the Tundra Garden, which is the northernmost garden on the North American continent. Sunday, April 27, 2008. Spring arrives on the wings of snowbirds. Well, it has been a while.  But the sun has come back and the temperatures are above 0, and the snow is even melting a teeny bit every now and then, so in a month or two, the TundraGarden will emerge. But I know it's spring, because the snowbirds are BACK! So pleased to see you back! How was the winter?

Tundra Games

News from the tundra. June 8th, 2015 Author:. Been a busy couple of weeks for Tundra. Rapture became free on the 18th May. Since then we’ve had 27,467 new users, which is fantastic. It’s wonderful to have so many people playing the game and hopefully people should have more luck finding games online. We’re getting reasonable revenue from the ads and in-app purchases – in a few months we’ll write up another blog post with some stats. These guys do a great job of promoting games development in the UK.

TundraGarden | Mostly about the Farthest North garden in the US.

Mostly about the Farthest North garden in the US. July 8, 2013. The ones I have at home are shorter (although getting taller with warmer weather–soon they will be as tall as they were when I got them in Point Hope) and much bluer. The TundraGarden comes back to life. June 24, 2013. This blog is usually pretty quite in the winter. The garden is buried under. Feet of snow, and that just doesn’t make for a lot of interesting posts. To top that off, my mother. TG at the end of May. Willows coming into bloom.

Gardening on the 45th Parallel | Grapes, veggies, apples, and hops in a short growing season

Gardening on the 45th Parallel. Grapes, veggies, apples, and hops in a short growing season. End of November Kale! November 23, 2014. Two weeks ago we had a bit of a snowfall that left about two inches on the ground. The night before the fall we were in the dark with flashlights getting the last of summer tucked away for the long winter night. The snow came, temperatures overnight dropped to a run of many nights in the teens and all seemed to be moving towards a white Thanksgiving. Just like finding that...

TundraGear

You Can Leave Your Hat On. Wednesday, November 12, 2008. What Could Have Been. The Tundra Gear warehouse is everything I hoped it would be. There are no words. Imagine maybe Willy Wonkas digs meet Santa’s Workshop with a little bit of Playboy Mansion. Then make that way sweeter. Neither does love. I begin to cry tears of joy. It is almost too much. The hats, like a rainbow of furry animals, frolic and cuddle with each other. Am I hallucinating as a result of pure excitement? Maybe Am I leaving this place?
