Yet two funerals I attended this year brought into sharp focus why I, and thousands of doctors, feel polyclinics are a step in the wrong direction. Their diagnoses of two different cancers came years apart, but they died within three weeks of each other this summer....

Here's a great op-ed by an Indian-American in the Washington Post discussing:. On Becoming A 'Real American' ". What do we do now? Posted by payal @ 12:32 PM.

Monday, February 27, 2006. Karma, Yoga, and Hip Mamahood. Some of the comparisions are actually funny:. Soccer mom . Carried a $30 Winnie...

Rohit’s father asks him if everything is normal, and Rohit wants to know what normal means, since he doesn’t seem to think it means watching his father ogle naked women. His dad says that Kantaben told him that Rohit was in love with someone. Rohit sighs and says it doesn’t matter, because the love isn’t mutual. Relieved, Rohit’s father says, Thank God!

Kal Ho Naa Ho, Part 12. Rohit and Naina get carried out of the club by some large bouncers. As Naina screams at them to let her go, Rohit asks a bouncer who looks nothing like Mohammed Ali if he’s Mohammed Ali. Aman tells them to shut up while Rohit tries not to puke, then they walk down the middle of the street in. And sing It’s the time to Disco. It’s like their own little New Year’s Rockin’ Eve. Aman asks Rohit when his father died, and Rohit says indignantly that he’s still alive. Cut to Rohit’s apar...
