We encourage all participants to arrive at least 45 minutes early. Washrooms are available at the Start Line inside Performance Works. Beverages, food and live entertainment is provided to every runner at the Finish Line and Expo. There is a tent specifically for coffee. Keep your eyes and ears open for music along the course too!

Saturday, August 4, 2012. This year Danielle and I had the chance to go to Kırkpınar, the Turkish oil wrestling festival that takes place every year in Edirne. This was the 651st annual event. You can find more details about the event on its wikipedia page. But I think that our experience is better shared through pictures. Before going onto the field, the an oil man (Yağcı) would come with cans of oil and the wrestlers would help each other coat themselves in oil, from head to toe. Friday, June 22, 2012.
