Ross and Sarah Scott. Saturday, September 29, 2012. Saturday morning, we got up and went downstairs for breakfast at Deca. It was pretty expensive but the pancakes and bacon were delicious so I guess it was worth it :). This is the view down from the skydeck at the top of Willis Tower. Ross is terrified of heights so I'm really impressed that he took this picture on his phone looking down at the Chicago River from that high up! Lexie had to show Ross that she ate all of her hot dog before she got an M&M. We ate at McAlister's on the way home in Birmingham, AL. Its one of our favorites. Ross and Sarah Scott. Tuesday, March 27, 2012. How bout an update? The other bit of news is that Ross got a promotion today! He interviewed for the Practice Administrator position that had recently opened in his office at Owensboro Pediatrics and he did such a good job that after only 5 minutes of discussion after his interview, the doctors called him in and offered him the job. I am so proud of him and happy that he did well and gets to work somewhere that he loves. Ross and Sarah Scott.

Cutest Blog on the Block. Sunday, April 6, 2014. Fun family birthday party. We celebrated Kade turning 15 today. We Ben and I took him to Panera, a yummy soup and bread restaurant. Two of his favorite things. While we were out his friend Malory surprised him with this. His response was with a smile on his face, "I just cleaned my room." He thought that it was his brothers till they denied it. and he found a car on his bed with a note from Malory. He grined for an hour. Porter pelted him with a balloon.

Sunday, September 9, 2012. Every year our garden gets a little bit better. I'm sure it's because we get a little bit better at taking care of it. My potted flowers in the back did amazing this year. We love to be outside and the kids always love checking out what has grown over night. Zucchini and yellow squash. Lemon basil (so yummy on sauteed zucchini). Our corn did pretty good, but didn't make it the whole summer. Grapevine newly planted this year. Along with some marigolds. First bell pepper ever!
