I've had one set of scans done soon after I finished chemo - these, as expected, came back clear (still a "Yay" moment! I had a colonoscopy in January, where they removed a polyp which we knew was there from the original discovery of the tumour. So all Good there - Yay! So Here I am. Saturday, October 30, 2010.

I recall the first time I said the 'cancer' word out loud, how I stuttered and stumbled over it, how it seemed to choke me to say it. Now I can make light of it and frequently use it as my trump card if I want to get my way. It's amazing what you get used to. 5 hours in a solid block is considered a good nights' sleep.
