Gordon's personal blog for family and friends. Saturday, December 19, 2009. Snowed in, flickr-ed up. Today we're having record snowfall. It's really piling up outside, probably a foot or more of the stuff by now. It's quite beautiful and just plain fun to be out in. As always when it snows, and particularly with the lovely powdery stuff we have today, it sets me to thinking of snowboarding. So friend me (username ' GordonPBaty. See my pics on Flickr. Thursday, September 17, 2009. REPORT from CHIEF MISS. Actually some people call me Miss Chief, but I can't think why. My Mummy had a big bump on her tummy but it has gone away and at the same time she got a new doll she called Becca that had a squashed face and no eyes. She loves washing it when she could be playing with me! I have taken Nanny out for walks a lot recently but she needs help with steering the stroller so that Teddy does not get upset. Tuesday, June 30, 2009. This a picture of Gibraltar airport looking towards it's Spanish "twin" town of La Linea. The grey horizontal strip is the landing strip, and there is a road crossing it with cars and pedestrians on it. When we left we walked from the Gate to the plane. It has been pointed out to me that my blog posts are increasingly infrequent, so by way of recompense here is a blog post that looks back on 2008. We joined Mum, Dad, Si, Jo and Lara for a week in Oahu, Hawaii and had a terrific time pootling around the north shore of the island. It's remarkably unspoilt and a very attractive landscape.
