A Student for Life: Family
http://stilllearningkb.blogspot.com/2010/06/family.html
Friday, June 11, 2010. I have been home since Sunday and it has been wonderfully relaxing. I have gotten two massages to help with my neck and back, worked on my dissertation, sewed, hung out and eaten yummy food. I get married in a week and a day! I like this quote - I pray daily that I will know how to be the mother and wife that Rob and the kids need. Lucky for me I have great examples all around me of those roles, people who are willing to talk and give advice and I am very grateful. Gratitude is our...

A Student for Life: April 2010
http://stilllearningkb.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 17, 2010. Today, my nephew, David Glenn Leavitt, turned 8 and was baptized. It is pretty neat to be batized on your birthday and David is a pretty awesome kid. He was so excited to get baptized that he literally jumped into the font ready. After he was baptized and received the Holy Ghost he was just a beaming little boy! So cute. After the batism we had some refreshments there at the church (great job Donna) and just hung out and had some fun. It was well worth the visit. Nathan was brin...

I walk the 5 minutes from my office in the School of Nursing to the old engineering building and teach for 3 hours straight. At first I thought I was nuts, that I have too many things this semester to do and when am I going to find the time to plan my lessons anyway? Posted by Caleb T Ricks. 160; I know the ...

Saturday, December 26, 2009. Christmas morning is fun always fun. Mandy and Nathan woke us up early and we unwrapped presents. It was early enough that when I got back to bed it was before 7:30 am. Nathan got what he wanted a Nitendo DS (I think) some small game thingy (you can tell I care a lot) from Santa and Mandy got a horse stable and horses from Santa. They both got fun gifts from Mama and Daddy and have been spending many hours playing with them. Posted by Caleb T Ricks. On to the entertainment...
