This weekend I planted some stuff: cilantro and basil(3 kinds) and rocket and butter beans and nastruisums and chives and peppers (3 kinds) and potatoes (4 kinds) and tomatoes (4 kinds). Too many. The unfocused wanderings of a wantin' woman. Sunday, February 10. Its the edge of the world as we know it. Taking some time out to celebrate our 26th anniversary, so we headed up the coast to Jenner. There is no cell service, no Internet, and no TV in the suite. At this point it feels odd to be so disconnected from, well, the world. Your world may be covered with raindrops or snowflakes, BUT "in my world it's always a sunny day". Saturday, December 31, 2011. Wow, what a year! My favorite aunt died in April and my best friend left the Grand Canyon Park in June, then my mom dies unexpectedly on December 7th. I did get to enjoy a smooth River trip in July and I took a greyhound bus to Missouri in August, to watch my son graduate from basic training. Tuesday, November 1, 2011. This was taken at the local school's Halloween Carnival.
