The wacky adventures of Paul and his patient wife, Helen. Wednesday, March 20, 2013. Trying to Catch up, Part II. This blog continues our experiences in San Miguel de Allende. I must confess that I was not a gracious guest or companion here as my thoughts were constantly driven to the problems incurred at the mysterious tope and the damage it caused. So as I tried to enjoy my stay here, inside I wanted to get home and start on the work. San Miguel as seen from the overlook coming into town. I had hea...

http://ptempesta.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
The wacky adventures of Paul and his patient wife, Helen. Wednesday, September 18, 2013. Helen has been walking around the block with a neighbor up the street. It’s not everyday, but several times a week. Helen has seen a few animals and has been taking a camera along to get a picture or two. Here’s Helen, all ready to get going before it gets too hot. And here is Darlene ready to set off into the wilds of our neighborhood. We’ll start with a picture taken right here in our yard. Now, this morning I went...

http://ptempesta.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
The wacky adventures of Paul and his patient wife, Helen. Tuesday, June 25, 2013. It was a very good week! The week started on Sunday, Fathers’ Day. We were invited to Sara Anne’s Dad’s house for a cookout. The invitation was for Helen and me, but Helen had a bad hair episode on Saturday and wouldn’t come outside. Thus I attended stag. On the home front, Helen was visited by Scott and his family and I returned home around three PM. This is the plane. It’s not dinged or damaged yet. Friday, June 14, 2013.

The wacky adventures of Paul and his patient wife, Helen. Friday, August 23, 2013. Another Mission for LRROF. I got a call last night about helping to move five Lab puppies from Georgia to New Port Richey, Florida. I met our Georgia contact, Cindy, at the usual spot near Alachua, close to Gainesville and we transferred the little rascals from the crate in her car to the crate in mine. I tried to get some pictures, but they were so active it was almost impossible. When I got to New Port Richey, Lewis had ...

The wacky adventures of Paul and his patient wife, Helen. Tuesday, January 29, 2013. Hunting for the Elusive Hammock. We drove down to Tulum and took the road to Coba. Long before we got to Coba, our journey came to a halt as we came upon a large display of ceramic goods. OK, Helen wanted a hammock, but she also wanted a Talavera Water dispenser, what she referred to as a ginger jar. A SMALL part of the display. A bonanza of hammocks awaits the discerning buyer. Paul and Helen's Adventures. Helen is look...

Paul, Helen, Jodie, Coco, and Sandy: July 2013
http://ptempesta.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
The wacky adventures of Paul and his patient wife, Helen. Friday, July 26, 2013. Back on the River. Today I was finally able to take my new kayak up the Withlacoochee River, putting in at the boat ramp at the end of Turner’s Camp Road. Other than one man in a small Jon boat, I had the river to myself. This is the new craft, a 12 ft fishing kayak. Four feet longer and worlds apart from my old one. On the way back, I saw a young eagle soaring above the river. This is the approach to the boat ramp. A we...
