updates from Uppsala: November 2009
http://updatesfromuppsala.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 21, 2009. Last day of Sweden. Today was our last full day in Sweden. This morning Eric took the boys (wearing the colors) out for a last visit to the cathedral. Then they walked into town and marveled one more time at the number of bicycles at the train station. They finished their outing at the Biotopia, where Christopher enjoyed studying Swedish ecosystems and painting. Hej då, Sverige. We're happy to go home, but sad to leave. Friday, November 20, 2009. You've come a long way, babies.

updates from Uppsala: you've come a long way, babies
http://updatesfromuppsala.blogspot.com/2009/11/youve-come-long-way-babies.html
Friday, November 20, 2009. You've come a long way, babies. During their time abroad, Christopher and Ian visited five towns in three countries. They boarded a plane six times (seven and eight will come on Sunday). They slept in the same room together (and with their parents) for fifty-seven nights (the fifty-eighth and fifty-ninth will be tonight and tomorrow night). They are both little troopers who have grown a lot during the last two months. Though they won't remember this, I will never forget. So swe...

Adele&me: everyday is unique.

updates from Uppsala: Stockholm styles
http://updatesfromuppsala.blogspot.com/2009/11/stockholm-styles.html
Saturday, November 7, 2009. While the men were partying at Junibacken, I was tasked with buying a suitcase at the behemoth block-long Åhléns near Sergels Torg. Somehow, our belongings seem to have expanded during our trip and we will need more room to get everything home. It's a bit of a walk from Junibacken to Sergels Torg, and I stopped along the way (incidentally intensifying the need for the extra suitcase). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Last day of Sweden. updates from Uppsala: Nashville
http://updatesfromuppsala.blogspot.com/2009/11/nashville.html
Friday, November 6, 2009. We pause for a break in our regularly-scheduled travel-blogging to promote our new hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. The Times Travel section has an item on Music City. With a roundup of interesting things to do and see there. Of course, I haven't really done any of them except some Western-inspired vintage shopping. Also, I have totally driven by Karen Elson's store. Which is very close to our house. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Last day of Sweden. Polarn O. Pyret.

updates from Uppsala: I want to ride my bicycle
http://updatesfromuppsala.blogspot.com/2009/11/i-like-to-ride-my-bicycle.html
Wednesday, November 4, 2009. I want to ride my bicycle. The bicycle is the transportation mode of choice in Uppsala. This makes sense from a student budget standpoint (Uppsala is a college town, after all), and the town is small enough so that you can bike fairly easily from one end to the other.
