http://ricksalicious.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html

And now, ten years later, my time has finally come. I was surprised how much fun Amsterdam was with the kids. I had only ever been there with grown-ups before, but there was a ton of fun for kids (including a great play center called Tun Fun. Well, maybe just a little bit. Posted by The Ricks. Monday, May 31, 2010. And almost ready for action. I realized just now that we've been home from our travels for almost two weeks, and I am just about decompressed. I think I need one more night of catching up on 30 Rock, The Office, and the other goodies saved for us by our thoughtful DVR while we were gone. Then I'm ready to catch you up on all we've done and are doing! Posted by The Ricks. Sunday, May 9, 2010. The Five Stages of No Internet Access. You know what I mean. And the list goes on and on. Here's a new one for the list: Orbeez. Wait, did I just say that? I do have to admit they are kind of pretty suspended in a glass of water. Our family online journal. Wednesday, June 25, 2008. Birthday Party and So Many Other Things (Part I). So, Gunter and Zoe turned 2 on June 19. Yes, yes, a major feat for them, but also for us, mom and dad! Zoe got a swing for her birthday. Gunter displaying his saxoflute prowess. They are becoming so independent and talking so much, it's just great. For those of you with infant twins, life gets so. Much easier the older they get. A guy in Home Depot with twins told me it gets easier everyday.

I can't help but thing how great it will be to sample some more Dutch cuisine that does not come in a hamburger bun. Steve and I arrived this morning, which felt like the middle of the night, and checked into our apartment and then I laid down for just a minute and woke up 2 1/2 hours later. Oh, and then there's this blog lag thing.

The Ricksalicious Life: March 2012
http://ricksalicious.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 10, 2012. Jack just started spelling tests this year at school, which I didn't think much about since Max had no problem with spelling. But, turns out, what they. EVERY KID IS DIFFERENT! I guess I should start listening to them. I was in a bit of a panic when Jack's first practice spelling test came back with 0 out of 8 words correct. Yikes! So we started studying, and he had been doing so well. It's so amazing when you see your hard work as a parent pay off, for both you and your kids!
