Books and Bikes and Other Things Nice. Tuesday, November 30, 2010. It seems that paper has become my art medium of choice. The feel of it, the smell of it, everything about it. It's so old fashioned. A couple of weeks ago was my brother Josh's birthday and for the occasion I decided to make a sort of book-card. I cut up paper to make the pages. I started with "J", then "O" then "S" then "H". Books and Bikes and Other Things Nice. Friday, July 27, 2012. Grilled Tuna with Sweet Corn Relish. My wonderful husband took a class in Seafood at the Chopping Block recently. He cooked one of the dishes for me and it was a complete and utter success. Grilled Tuna with Sweet Corn Bacon Relish. It was fantastic. He said it was fun and it was so good, I hope he'll make it again sometime. Although it won't be nearly as nice as Dan's, I'll even offer to help chop! Dan is excellent at chopping.

Feb 22, 2011. So, remember last December when my knee gave out. While I was in another country? Well, after multiple visits to the doctor's office, an x-ray, and an MRI, it turns out that physical therapy isn't going to cut it. Aug 25, 2011. Air and Water Show 2011. Last weekend was the Chicago Air and Water show. Like usual, they do their show on North Beach but fly north and south to turn around. And they turn around right over our house. We've really enjoyed it these past fiew years, and this year we were afraid there wasn't going to be a show. It. This past week my plan was to eat 90% power foods on the Simply Filling Technique list. I went back to Weight Watchers on Saturday March 1 for my weigh in.
