An English Voice: Somali Pirates
http://anenglishvoice.blogspot.com/2011/03/somali-pirates.html
Saturday, 5 March 2011. I was reading something interesting the other day about the issue of Somali pirates raiding ships and yachts in the Indian Ocean, and all the bloodshed and pain they cause, and I came across something rather disturbing concerning our involvement. The Royal Navy is present in those waters to assist the international task force to stop these pirates, however the British Foreign Office has instructed the Navy not to arrest any of the pirates for fear of breaching their human rights.

An English Voice: Is it Guilt?
http://anenglishvoice.blogspot.com/2011/03/is-it-guilt.html
Wednesday, 9 March 2011. How and why did we, and consecutive British governments, become such cowards? How and why did we allow minority groups to dictate to us what we can and can’t do, say and not say? Is it guilt, the guilt of having the largest empire the world has ever seen, and of controlling the lives of hundreds of millions of people? Do we feel so ashamed about our past that we are forfeting our future? Wikipedia article about the murder of young Scottish lad, Kriss Donald by five Pakistani men).

An English Voice: Calling for An English Parliament
http://anenglishvoice.blogspot.com/2011/03/calling-for-english-parliament.html
Saturday, 5 March 2011. Calling for An English Parliament. As Simon Hoggart said in his article ‘The West Lothian Spectre’ in The Guardian,. 7 November 2001 “. Indeed, because the Scots are 44% over-represented at Westminster, the average voter in Glenbogle has more influence on the way Grimsby is run than has the average voter in Grimsby.”. We used to have an English parliament though. It formed in the 13. If England got its own parliament like Scotland then I don’t see why the Union should dissol...

An English Voice: Our civilisation
http://anenglishvoice.blogspot.com/2011/03/our-civilisation.html
Monday, 14 March 2011. They have so little regard for us and our country that they believe they can just march in and impose their own religion and backwards ways on us, and expect us to lie down and take it. And then when we stand our ground, answer back and defend our way of life they act as if we have committed some terrible crime against them and they get even more berserk with anger and hatred. They treat us as the enemy, yet they are here by our generosity and good graces. They push our toleran...

An English Voice: A letter to Anjem Choudary
http://anenglishvoice.blogspot.com/2011/03/letter-to-anjem-choudary.html
Wednesday, 23 March 2011. A letter to Anjem Choudary. Anjem, Anjem, Anjem, what are we going to do with you my lad? You were so much fun back in your salad days, all those boozy, babe filled, pot smoking adventures, and now look at you, all grey and serious. Was it because you failed your first year medical exams, or because you’ve been struck off the roll of solicitors? Oh and on the subject of qualifications, what exactly are yours that allow you to call yourself a shar’ia judge? 8220;One of our campai...

An English Voice: Poppy Burning
http://anenglishvoice.blogspot.com/2011/03/poppy-burning.html
Thursday, 10 March 2011. A quick look around the blogs shows that everyone is rightly very upset and angry at the joke of a punishment imposed upon Emdadur Choudhury for his poppy burning event in Central London on Armistace Day last year. Some of the 40 or so protesters held signs saying ‘British soldiers burn in hell! The sentence handed down was a £50 fine. Choudhury didn’t bother himself to show up at the court and later proudly said. What if we reversed this event and burnt a Koran? After World War ...

An English Voice: Are moderate Muslims helping to stop radicalisation within their communities?
http://anenglishvoice.blogspot.com/2011/03/are-moderate-muslims-helping-to-stop.html
Monday, 7 March 2011. Are moderate Muslims helping to stop radicalisation within their communities? But what are the local Muslim communities themselves doing about it? Don’t the Muslims communities themselves have an obligation to try and stop the radicalisation of their own people? Or is it a belief that a Muslim should never speak out against another Muslim, therefore creating the situation where the stay silent and allow the extremist elements to thrive? This is a frightening situation. If modera...
