Holistic Mommy - Part II. Friday, May 30, 2008. The Hundred Languages Of Children - A Poem. I had the opportunity to work with an educator who was learning about this approach and practising it in her classroom. It was the most amazing experience I've ever had working in childcare. The children were so stimulated, curious - they were little scientists! It is absolutely amazing what children are capable of if we back off and give them the space and opportunity to really explore their interests. Links to t...

I came across a garage sale on the way to the grocery store and it was loaded, I mean LOADED with kids stuff. I happen to be purging all her outgrown toys and replacing them with stuff she's really into right now so this was such a happy coincidence! For $30 I scored oodles of never ending goodness. And to add to the excitement? Two toddlers, two Tonka trucks! And let's se...

Holistic Mommy - Part II. Thursday, December 4, 2014. I have been on many adventures this year, starting on Easter weekend. I just throw my day in a backpack and then head out. I haven't been on any excursions recently, I keep smashing my cars. The last one left us broken and in pain. Bloody hell. Always when I get my life going too. I feel excited. I'm feeling a purpose again and joy and excited to be moving forward with the momentum of the planet. Since accepting that I would have to uproot her...Tonig...
