We are having some lovely Autumn days at the moment, in the low to high 20’s, we have also had some good rain and so the ‘lawn’ has gone from burnt brown to mostly green again, everything looks a little brighter. Would you put those colours together? Not sure I would be as brave but they work don't they? I think there is something congruent about the shades. I have been known to "have" to make a necklace in the morning to go with the outfit I am wearing that day.and made it and wore it! Just craft musings with a lateral twist. Saturday, 10 March 2012. I don't know what made me start drawing zombies. Or why I thought it would make a good keyring- but here are the (pic heavy) results! Cut the bits out of your felt stash- I recent found a whole bag of felt I had ahem, "temporarily mislaid" including the hideous yellow with black on ( face colour) from a bargain bag. I embroidered the details and embroidered the face pieces on at the same time if that makes sense! See why I wired the arms?

Just craft musings with a lateral twist. Saturday, 2 July 2011. My camera has broken- boohoo! I am in mourning.I loved it! It says the zoom won't.well won't zoom! Apparently it will cost the price of a new one to fix it. I am a bit ( ok a lot) of a techno idiot - not a technophobe- love technology if it does what it is supposed to with the minimal of user knowledge and fiddling.so the idea of sifting through loads of similar priced cameras to choose a new one leaves me cold! Bits and bobs of my journey through life. Dear me. →. I’m back :). June 30, 2013. Well what a journey I have had in the last few months, suffice to say I am so glad it is now behind me. The photo’s are a bit dark as it was night when I took them. Kitchen meals area, the sun pours in here in the mornings till just after lunch time, glorious. Dining area which is now the reading room. Looking from meals to dining room which I am using as a reading area. Paved area in front of back door from meals area.

Saturday, 17 September 2011. Spellings with my 8 year old have always been a bit of a chore- we start on Mondays and practice at least 3 times until the tests on Fridays. This week they had homonyms- oh boy! So they have to understand the different meaning to be able to spell the right one. As opposed to threw a ball).
