Twenty-Something in Toronto - a blog on what to do/see/eat/drink/try/whatever in the city of toronto
I had the chance to see PUSH! A show put on for Panamania about para-athletes. I also had the priviledge to speak with the Artistic Director, Eliza Chandler who told me more about Tangled. And the production of PUSH! Tell me more about Tangled:. What’s the history of “PUSH! Was commissioned for Panamania. It’s a unique opportunity to showcase remarkable athletes and Tangled is very excited about the show. What’s been the most exciting aspect of working with Tangled? How does Tangled find artists? Artists...

I have found I can also give solid advice to clients who are retired, collecting Social Security and a pension and have some investments. I will meet with clients between 30 and 65, but may decline to offer a plan if I do not have confidence that I can offer a sound plan. There will be no charge for that meeting. My company is not in business to offer tweaks to a good plan for a fee. It is a good doublecheck of existing plans. Payment by check due at time of last meeting.

The Diary of a Twenty-Something in Wonderland
The Diary of a Twenty-Something in Wonderland. Wisdom and ramblings of a writer and PR girl. Love plays, poets, parties and people. Partial to nicotine, caffeine and alcohol. Distracted by the current concerns of recession, diminishing morals and questionable politics. But also by the merits of twitter and the continuing place for sequins in fashion. hurrah. Monday, 7 March 2011. It's Just a Little Crush. Part 1. In the space of 4 months at around age 9-10, the walls of my room which had previously house...

Twenty Somethingish – A Day in the Life…
A Day in the Life…. Natalie’s 10 Day Freedom Plan Blog Challenge Day 6. Day 6 : “Finding your Tribe”. Choosing a mentor is a very important part of your career. My favorite thing about mentors is that you can have as many as you want. You can have a different mentor for every aspect of your life, not just work. A mentor is someone you can look to for guidance and leadership. They help you when you are feeling lost and need advice on what path to take. Jaclyn inspires me because she paved her way from the...

Saturday, July 11, 2009. What is a Dragonc? What's up with dragonc? My friend Jed quizzically asked as we walked around looking for lunch one day. What's up with it? I said. "Well, you use it everywhere! I don't know what you're talking about", I keep walking nonchalantly, hoping to plant some confusion, but my laughter gave me away after a few steps. Michael Johnson and Track and Field. At the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Michael Johnson made history by breaking the Olympic Record for the 200m *and*...

Knitting Mama
Musings from a knitting mama! Wednesday, October 12, 2016. Currently OTN: Nemesis Socks. I am knitting these for the Sock Knitters Anonymous September KAL on Ravelry. These qualify for the literary challenge, as they are inspired by Agatha Christie. I am using Dream in Color Smooshy in a pretty green ( Go Go Grassy) that I bought in 2007. This yarn has excellent stitch definition, and the pattern shows off the slight color variations beautifully! Saturday, April 30, 2016. We have a winner! A sweater for ...

Shadows On The Wall | Life and Struggles of a Twenty-Something Know-It-All
Shadows On The Wall. Life and Struggles of a Twenty-Something Know-It-All. I’ve been in Tunisia for over three weeks now, and really haven’t had time to breath, exhale, and reflect. I spent my first couple of weeks living in a spa resort by the sea and have only just moved into my home in historical Carthage. It’s incredible to live just a couple blocks from the sea, and share my neighborhood with ancient crumbled Punic ruins. Here are my first impressions of Tunisia. The country is green. I’ve mad...

The Twenty Something Kvetch
The Twenty Something Kvetch. The days of freedom, confusion, frustration, alcohol, and a whole lot of kvetching - our twenties. Thursday, December 1, 2011. And really, you just injured my pride.". I spend a lot of q.t. with Pandora. We spend hours a day connecting on the Long Island Railroad. I'd like to think Pandora knows me pretty well by now. This morning, it decided it wanted to cheer me up. and played the following. (and I giggled. Good going, Pandora). Why you didn't call me? I waited for days.

DAY 41 – “I’m only human…”. WHAT CAN I SAY? Some People are just not meant to be Wonder Woman! Not every woman is wonderful, not every man is super, when as a world are we going to understand that we are all the same, we are all people, we are all HUMAN? I had a think the other day…I want to be Prime Minister! As a country we complain, as a generation “THE TWENTYSOMETHINGS” we complain all the time about not having a government that understands us, that knows what we want! Who’s with me? But please take ...
