I actually made it to the gym today, despite every fiber of my being wanting to imitate a corpse and lie in bed all day. i ran, i walked, i biked, i steamed. then i made a Big Girl trip to the grocery store and came SO close to buying chicken in an attempt to undo my fear of cooking poultry. but i. Out and bought a pre-cooked juicy turkey breast thingie instead. This is what happens when i'm left to my own devices.

Sometimes i think they are too fat, sometimes i think they aren't strong enough (pushups? And sometimes i just plain think they need to see the sun a bit more. but never have i been so grateful, so happy to have these arms. and the hands attached to them. and all those awesome fingers. I saw 127 Hours. It was cool to hear his version of what i just saw. REALLY cool, actually. Fa la la la.
