Monday, March 23, 2009. My time here is coming to a close. This wont be my last post, but it will be my last post from Hanga. I will make a few more posts with a faster Internet. Connection at home when i can upload some video clips and more pictures from my stay here. This weekend was full of goodbyes. Anne and I will be leaving Hanga. Tomorrow morning at 5 AM to begin our journey home. This means i spent all day on Friday running around Hanga. Getting the equipment i needed! Good looking shirt Gaudence.

Sunday, August 31, 2008. As promised last week, here are some pictures from the day after the jubilee. It was sad to see the stage being completely disassembled the day after the celebration after it took some 2 weeks to construct! The MN visitors came to visit my school. (Br. Castor the headmaster of the Pre and Primary school is in the background facing the camera.). Friday, December 26, 2008. Today was Christmas.even here in Hanga! I was telling everyone yesterday that there were two main reaons that it didn't feel like Christmas: 1. because there is no snow on the ground (look at the green! 2 because i am wearing shorts.and have been wearing shorts for the past 6 months! Monday, October 27, 2008. Imiliwaha (Part 2): Orphans, Tea, and "the tree". Even though Charlie looks like a giant here, the kids still schooled him. How do they get so good so young? Natural talent I guess. I guess you could call this room the "refectory." They had a pretty good system set up laying the mats out on the floor (no high chairs) and putting bibs on the little ones. And the older kids led each other in prayer to begin and end the meal. pretty impressive. As always, comments are very welcome.

Thursday, January 29, 2009. Father/Son Safari Part 6: Stonetown. After our day in the son, we came back for a nice relaxing drink ocean side to watch the sunset.
