Standard mixing glass – I had been using pint glasses forever but finally they all broke, the last two while actually making cocktails. Now I have a vintage mixing glass with recipes on the outside. All juice should be fresh squeezed, especially citrus. Shaken cocktails. It keeps tiny bits of ice and fruit out of your drink. 1 oz London dry gin. Shake well with ice and into a chilled cocktail glass. Lemon twist or maraschino cherry garnish optional. From Paul Harrington’s excellent and sadly out-of-print. 2 oz rye whiskey.
