Friday, November 18, 2011. Quilting, Quilting, Quilting. Last weekend my mom and I took a quilting class for this quilt pattern. The class was wonderful, I would definitely recommend it! It was taught by the designers of the pattern, Joanne Sundahl and Linda Pohlenz. At the start of the class they did a little "trunk show" and showed us a whole variety of quilts using variations of the technique.the possibilities are endless! If so, did you enjoy it? In honor of this special patriotic holiday, I thought I would share with you a red, white, and blue quilt that I recently completed as a gift for my Mother-In-Law's birthday. I wanted to showcase the bold graphic patterns of the fabrics that I chose for this quilt, so I designed the blocks with large rectangles in a subway tile pattern. The girls are back into the swing of things at school. And Gene is getting over a cold with a very bad sore throat. Poor guy! And dare I ask, am I dedicated enough in my faith to live.
