Ear to Ground, Eye to Sky: October 2009
http://ear2ground-eye2sky.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Ear to Ground, Eye to Sky. Tuesday, October 20, 2009. Video is almost there with Ben busy rotascoping final link scenes to make good transitions between drawn footage, Flash animation and live footage. Going to try some mixing together on the old mixing desk now to see how that is going to work. Here is an earlier version of Ben's rotascoping which he is now adjusting to help it fit with the rest of the film. Friday, October 16, 2009. Behold, rejoice and maybe even clap your hands for the above video!

Ear to Ground, Eye to Sky: September 2009
http://ear2ground-eye2sky.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Ear to Ground, Eye to Sky. Friday, September 25, 2009. Let's have a look back at some days out/filming/working/getting wet. From the Friday the 18th visit (again, something I wasn't part of due to a conflict in schedule) where the plucky team visited Gibson's Cave, Stanhope, Romaldkirke and pictured above the lovely Lowforce. Again, all of these different areas make up different parts of what people's expectations of what the Dale looks like, or how good the Dales can. Thursday, September 24, 2009. I'm w...

Ear to Ground, Eye to Sky: Another fine update!
http://ear2ground-eye2sky.blogspot.com/2009/10/another-fine-update.html
Ear to Ground, Eye to Sky. Friday, October 16, 2009. Behold, rejoice and maybe even clap your hands for the above video! As the finished video is to be a combined version of both animation and live footage, we thought it best to give the world a sneak peak of just a sampling of the usuable footage we have gathered so far from shooting around the Dales. It works quite nice by itself, but the hardest challenge will be seeing how well it interwines with the music and the animation. Venue and swirling cornets.

I'm on with getting short documentary about the project completed and sorting DVD designs and covers. This should take a couple of weeks and then we will finally have the finished thing - finally. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Finally - Final animation. One Night in an Old Church, Surrounded by Horns.

Ear to Ground, Eye to Sky: Venue & swirling cornets
http://ear2ground-eye2sky.blogspot.com/2009/10/venue-swirling-cornets.html
Ear to Ground, Eye to Sky. Thursday, October 1, 2009. Venue and swirling cornets. Here is Wolsingham Parish Church, where the concert and film will be played. I went to have a look at what is going to be the best way of setting the screen and the video projector up. Space is going to be pretty tight with a big band and a screen in there! Also been playing around with some imagery for the start. Swirling cornet anyone? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Ahoy there Danny here, Im just trying out my .

Ear to Ground, Eye to Sky. Sunday, November 1, 2009. One Night in an Old Church, Surrounded by Horns. We arrived at Wolsingham Parish Church with plenty of time to do a recce of the area. We used this opportunity to find the nearest toilets (a mere five minute walk away) and examine some of the more legendary tombstones in the graveyard. Not that it was all down to us, as The Stanhope Silver Band partnered up with the H.M.S.A.C afterwards to play even more music. By this point I was s...After we had clap...
