Ribbon Flowers | Twisted Web
https://twistedweb.wordpress.com/2011/07/30/ribbon-flowers
A blog about handmade yarn and other crafty things. Looking forward to a three day weekend (I currently have no class on Mondays) I felt like I could finally relax. The instant this thought entered my mind the need to create something took over. I desperately weighed my options. Origami came first, but I couldn’t find any patterns I felt like making. Embroidery sounded like fun, but what could I embroider? By twistedweb on July 30, 2011. Posted in Misc. Crafts. One Response to “Ribbon Flowers”.
Master of my own fate | Twisted Web
https://twistedweb.wordpress.com/2011/07/27/master-of-my-own-fate
A blog about handmade yarn and other crafty things. Master of my own fate. So I kind of dropped off the face of the planet as far as blogging goes. What honestly happened was I was waiting to get pictures off my camera so I could post about Artfest. Yes, it’s been since before Artfest that I posted a blog… that’s 3-4 months *gasp* and I have just been completely preoccupied with other things. Other things being life. One last news update: Dave (Gearskull Studios). Will be a vendor at Journalfest. You are...
Knotted Bracelet | Twisted Web
https://twistedweb.wordpress.com/2011/08/02/knotted-bracelet
A blog about handmade yarn and other crafty things. My desire for crafts doesn’t seem to be diminishing. I got the thought in my head last night that I wanted to make hemp bracelets again, something I enjoyed as a kid. I have no hemp, but instead, conveniently sitting on the coffee table right in front of me was Dave’s waxed polyester for bookbinding. I found a random box of beads to play with, and here is the result! By twistedweb on August 2, 2011. Posted in Misc. Crafts. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Monday, September 6, 2010. The Omegaclaw and Wil Wheaton. First off, the Omegaclaw could not have been any cooler. Secondly, Wil Wheaton makes people happy, and that's awesome. And he made Dave extremely happy, and that's even more awesome! I'll post pictures when they get developed. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Peculiar Pen-Pushing: March 2010
http://peculiarpenpushing.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 17, 2010. Road Trip Days 14-17. After getting very confused about the time change, we left Las Vegas, heading towards Los Angeles. It wasn't an exciting drive, although I did see a Roadrunner! It was cute, Dave was sleeping and missed it. We got a little lost trying to find my friends house, but he helped us get there and we hung out with a bunch of people in Santa Clarita, eating Chipotle (an old college favorite of mine) and watching Extract which was decent. Peculiar Pen-Pushing: June 2009
http://peculiarpenpushing.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 26, 2009. An update on life. After graduation I frantically started packing up my apt to move after five years of living in the same little studio. Without my cousin and friend I don't know what I would have done, they were a huge help, especially my cousin. So here I am at Artfiberfest, down at Reed College in Portland, OR. It's been beautiful weather and the campus is great. Really fun! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). There are two things that occupy my mind most of the time: language and music.

Tuesday, February 24, 2009. A Note on Language. Languages are dying at an alarming rate. The tragedy of this is I think is not apparent to people in general. The death of a language seems akin to the death of a culture. Cultural groups are often defined by the language they speak. When a language dies, the oral traditions are forgotten. Folklore is lost, history fades. It is a sad thing. Saturday, February 14, 2009. Thursday, February 12, 2009. Saturday, February 7, 2009. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
