https://dragonflyreflections.wordpress.com/2012/01/22/double-dog-done
Learning to shine . one day at a time. January 22, 2012. 8220;Done” might be a stretch, but I’ve taken the first baby steps and my Etsy shop. If you look over there on my right-hand sidebar, you’ll even see a nice little widget that includes a few of my items. I have lots more to come over the next few days, but I’m really taking that “baby step” thing literally and trying not to be overwhelmed. There was so much involved with starting an Etsy store? What's Cooking?: June 2010
http://whatscookingsundayrecipes.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Blog, blog, blog. Tuesday, June 29, 2010. It's been hotter than blazes here in North Carolina and I am loathe to turn on the stove. In keeping with my newly gained resolve to lose these extra pounds, it seemed fitting to make a batch of this wonderful cold, healthy soup. 25 C tomato juice (you can also use V8 juice for this). 1 C peeled, seeded, finely chopped fresh tomatoes. 1/2 C finely chopped celery. 1/2 C finely chopped cucumber. 1/2 C finely chopped green bell pepper. 1/2 C finely chopped scallions.

What's Cooking?: October 2009
http://whatscookingsundayrecipes.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Blog, blog, blog. Bourbon Glazed Pork and Easy Corn Casserole. Sunday, October 25, 2009. Bourbon Glazed Pork and Easy Corn Casserole. For this week's post, I've got a twofer. Both recipes are easy, and the pork's savory flavor complements the slightly sweet aspect of the corn casserole. The corn casserole can be made a day ahead to make things even easier. Preheat oven 425 degrees. 1/4 cup Kentucky Bourbon (plus a little for the cook. ;) ). 1/4 cup light soy sauce. 1/4 cup packed brown sugar. If you want...

Sole-Warming! - Day by Day
http://miamileisa.weebly.com/1/post/2013/01/sole-warming.html
Taking life one project at a time. As much as I lament the lack of pure white snow here in sunny Florida, I really do not envy my friends and family back in Canada who have to endure the long, dark, cold days of winter. The flurry of activity surrounding the holidays gives way to the endless piles of snow and freezing winds of January, and spring seems a million years away as the days tick slowly by. I stumbled across the most beautiful wool, and my knitting fingers got itchy! I made the tops of them a b...

A Bird In My Hand: August 2009
http://abirdinmyhand.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 31, 2009. Do you feel lucky? I've been thinking about luck. This may seem like a random topic, but I've been thinking about it for a while. What is it? Does it actually exist? Or is luck a confluence between circumstance and opportunity that is totally random? Why do some people seem "lucky" and others not-so-much? Is it simply our perspective? Our personal vantage point from either a cup-half-empty or cup-half-full place? No Does that make us value what she has accomplished any less?
