But recently unwrapped a 36" x 24" inch canvas. Every painting seems to present it's own challenges. This one was a bit daunting because of it's size. Twittering In The Trees. Sunday, July 17, 2011. A double rainbow to remember. Fishing off Ainsworth Wharf, Sat. July 16, 2011. After work, my husband and I were going to meet our friends at the wharf, before driving up to the Ainsworth Hot Springs for a soak. We got there early, so Dave could get some fishing in. It had been a lovely, sunny day, but it changed late in the day, and we watched as a storm blew in. That's when our friends arrived, and we noticed a rainbow had just formed. What a glorious day!

Country living, in rural BC, Canada, from my living room to yours. Saturday, October 18, 2014. Dave and I both heard the thud, when a bird hit our front window this morning. I ran out front to see what it was and if it was ok. This little feathered hunter was spread out on the concrete and not moving, so we feared the worst. Dave knew right away it was an owl, I wasn't so sure, since it was so small! I was thrilled that he'd survived and wished him the best, regretting that we hadn't taken any photos!
