We cooked up a ham and enjoyed the rest of the day with our small little family. Friday, November 2, 2012. Ben found a huge snail nestled into the rocky beach. He really wanted to keep it! He carried it around for awhile hoping to at least show someone else, but in the end just returned it to it's home. This Jellyfish was my find. Pretty big Jellyfish! Emmett was with us at the beach too, he just didn't know it. Nice to have a baby that will sleep wherever we go. Although he is becoming less portable in his old age :). I don't think Norah minded walking around in wet pants at all.

Saturday, February 11, 2012. Today has been a perfect day! As I've grown older I seem to like Birthday's less and less, but today was an exception. What more could I have asked for? You just can't beat waking up to the smiling face of a toddler, especially MY toddler. We then had a yummy breakfast of fruit crepes. Ben offered to bring it to me in Bed, but who really wants to eat in their bed? And then back home this evening to a dinner of Crab and Artichokes, delicious! Happy 28 to me!

I wouldn't say that I'm "nesting" quite yet, because I'm still not really motivated to clean or organize much, but I have been really excited about a "car seat canopy" ever since I wished I had one with Norah. I found a tutorial here. I wanted to do buttons for the closure but I have yet to attempt buttons holes and Velcro seemed much easier. I have to admit when we walked into the store I was a little nervous about my plan. but Rowynne was such a trooper. She got two suckers and hardly cried at all. I think she cried the most when I had to hold her still but after it was all over and done with. No Tears! Needless to say I love them! I love how they sparkle!
