Best Part of Today: Enjoy Every Day
http://bestpartoftoday.blogspot.com/2008/05/enjoy-every-day.html
Best Part of Today. Sunday, May 25, 2008. Today was an absolutely gorgeous day. It was also the first time since mid-week I was able to hobble around town without drooling all over myself (thanks to the two teeth I had extracted on Thursday). I took a walk to Allan Gardens and met the most darling woman named Doreen. As I was walking up the path towards her bench we made eye contact, followed by a smile, followed by a hello. Pretty good advice if you ask me. Posted by Lauren Valentine. Havin a HAY DAY.

Best Part of Today: Flower Face
http://bestpartoftoday.blogspot.com/2008/05/flower-face.html
Best Part of Today. Friday, May 9, 2008. Tonight I was at Funk'n'Chocolate. A night of drinking, dancing, balloon popping, beer raffles and of course, delicious organic chocolate! It was all in the name of World Playground Project. In order to raise money for their arts education projects in Toronto and Cape Town, South Africa. Larisa's favorite part of today was getting her face painted like a flower at the daycare where she works. Apparently the kids absolutely loved it too! Posted by Lauren Valentine.

Best Part of Today: Best Part of Today Blog is Born!
http://bestpartoftoday.blogspot.com/2008/05/best-part-of-today-blog-is-born.html
Best Part of Today. Wednesday, May 7, 2008. Best Part of Today Blog is Born! When I was in grade 10 I kept a journal where I'd write down the best part of my day - every day. Writing out good moments and looking back on them made me feel wonderful, but even more importantly I found looking for the "best part" during the day gave me a certain playfulness and excitement to face EVERY part. And once I was looking at the world with that perspective, everything just seemed brighter. My best part of today was.

Best Part of Today: Havin' a HAY DAY
http://bestpartoftoday.blogspot.com/2008/05/havin-hay-day.html
Best Part of Today. Friday, May 16, 2008. Havin' a HAY DAY. One word comes to mind when I think of how to describe David and Poppy, owners of The Bakery. 8220;How did you end up in Tamworth? 8221; my mom asked David over our AMAZING organic salad complete with fresh baby tomatoes, snap peas, and sprouts. 8221; David beamed – and that was all there was to it. The best part of David’s day was having his part time employee Nicole (in the picture below) come to work in the morning. Posted by Lauren Valentine.

Best Part of Today: Rockin' the Black Book
http://bestpartoftoday.blogspot.com/2008/05/valerie-is-studying-at-u-of-t-to-be-md.html
Best Part of Today. Wednesday, May 21, 2008. Rockin' the Black Book. Valerie is studying at U of T to be an MD. She's a smartie and a sweetheart - which in my opinion will make her a dynamo Doctor one day. The best part of Valerie's today was going to see the stage show, Stores From Our Black Books. Just North of Younge and Eglinton. She found it was fun, hilarious, different and an overall good time. Posted by Lauren Valentine. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Wrapping to Men in Tights. Best Part of Today: Bike and Disco Divas
http://bestpartoftoday.blogspot.com/2008/05/bike-and-disco-divas.html
Best Part of Today. Tuesday, May 20, 2008. Bike and Disco Divas. I met Jessica (left) and Mary (right) on Adelaide and Spadina after work. They were providing passerbys with info about the Drop Everything 10K Run/5K Walk for Cancer. Mary's best part of today was her bikeride to work. It was a gorgeous day, she hardly had any close calls with cars, and while stopped at a red light she had a pleasant conversation with a cop about the weather. Posted by Lauren Valentine. Best Part of Today. Tuesday, May 13, 2008. Simon was my fabulous waiter man this evening at Free Times Cafe. On Spadina and College (which, on a side note, has the most amazing fries I've ever had). When I asked Simon his favorite part of today he didn't hesitate a bit. Today," he said definitively, "I decided it was time to be a man! Wow I could tell right off the bat this was going to be a good one. Isn't this the coolest phone you've ever seen? I can even get Internet on this thing! Havin a HAY DAY.

http://bestpartoftoday.blogspot.com/2008/05/experience-this.html
Best Part of Today. Monday, May 19, 2008. Dan works at Rogers video on Wellesley and Yonge. Apparently he's not allowed to have his picture taken in his uniform (bummer), so you'll just have to imagine him! The best part of Dan's day was his lunch at the Teriyaki Experience. In Toronto Life Square. Posted by Lauren Valentine. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Wrapping to Men in Tights. Rockin the Black Book. Bike and Disco Divas. Havin a HAY DAY. Best Part of Today: Pages of Treasures
http://bestpartoftoday.blogspot.com/2008/05/literary-treasures.html
Best Part of Today. Monday, May 12, 2008. I met Lee browsing in Pages Bookstore. After work and, to put it quite simply, she rocked my whole day! I always fall prey to a wave of nervousness before I approach a stranger to ask if they'll participate in my blog, and Lee was just so welcoming, sweet and fabulous about the whole endeavor she made it easy for great conversation to flow and a real connection to be made. Lee also mentioned she wrote for this past winter's CBC Canada Reads. Rockin the Black Book.
