Travel in Asia - helpful hints and hotel recommendations. Monday, July 26, 2010. Final Days in Ho Chi Minh City. The final days in Saigon passed all too quickly. The trip from Mui Ne to Saigon took about five hours - distance wise, it wasn't far, but the traffic was non-stop - lots of buses and trucks. Our lucky mascots -. We decided against a heavy sightseeing itinerary in HCMC and spent most days wandering the city (yes, some shopping and eating was included). View from the 20th floor. Road to Mui Ne.

Travel in Asia - helpful hints and hotel recommendations. Friday, July 1, 2011. Apart from sightseeing and relaxing by the pool at the hotel, we spent some time checking out the shops. We found a great embroidered linen and cotton shop where we parted with some dollars. My luggage weight has increased to 24 kilos. I left Australia with 12 kilos. Beautiful table napkins for around $3-4 each. We discovered a department store where I had a brief rest:. Prawn and Pork Salad. Presentation is always superb.
