My drawings of this building were done in pencil from three sets of field notes that pretty consistently conflicted with each other. When I finally got to see this building up close and inside, my drawings had already been published, so I did not try to verify any dimensions. Kits for this building, made from my drawings, have been offered in both HO and O scales. This exterior shot shows the stone color more accurately.

We flew 14 hours from Dallas to Dubai, stayed the night in Dubai, and then flew four more hours to Addis Ababa. As soon as we arrived, we dumped our bags at the guest house and headed straight to the foster home to pick up Miss Maci! I signed a few papers, and then we left the foster home with my baby girl!
