Fumbling Towards Here: STAYCATION
http://fumblingtowardshere.blogspot.com/2008/09/staycation.html
Thursday, September 4, 2008. I am still trying to get my sweetie to a yoga class. First class is only ten bucks. She says she's game, we'll see. She's trying to get me to walk more. It's free. Four" "And how many children do you have? None" "Ok." It was the nonchalant reminder of my history he invoked that lit tiny angry embers in my heart and left me in a bad mood for the rest of that day. So while we were recapturing the bliss and tasting four different kinds of mac and cheese (who knew? First step....

Fumbling Towards Here: In Case You Didn't Know
http://fumblingtowardshere.blogspot.com/2008/08/in-case-you-didnt-know.html
Tuesday, August 26, 2008. In Case You Didn't Know. About her breathing capacity, but in the end she did it lovingly and movingly. That is the kind of woman she is. She shows up for her friends and does her best to meet her obligations with competence and grace. It is in times like these I am struck with awe at my beloved's. Tenacity of will and focus even with personal adversity. Today I am feeling grateful. Still clueless, but grateful. August 27, 2008 at 5:13 AM. August 27, 2008 at 8:32 AM. Lord knows ...

Mom and Sodapop: December 2008
http://momandsodapop.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 30, 2008. I worry about not having identification for her. I have bizarre thoughts, like someone will ask me to prove I birthed her. I imagine a stern man from the Department of Parental Security demanding evidence. "Look," I will say desperately while quickly pulling off my shoes and socks, "we have identical toes.". Tuesday, December 2, 2008. Thanks especially to the bloggers. Whose blogs give me so much freakin. Good information and inspiration. Before TTC. What's In a Name? So, our ...

Mom and Sodapop: Papa Can You Hear Me?
http://momandsodapop.blogspot.com/2010/05/papa-can-you-hear-me.html
Tuesday, May 18, 2010. Papa Can You Hear Me? Sunshine, 19 months, has learned the word "Papa." She started calling her Grandpa "Papa" and we all thought it was sweet. However, we discovered that she thinks men in general are "Papa.". Cue to Sunshine on the train in her stroller agressively pointing to strange men yelling "PAPA! Fellow passengers found it hillarious. Imagine if they knew the story of her conception! Lol TTG likes yelling at everyone to GO AWAY! May 19, 2010 at 4:39 AM. An Accident of Hope.

Mom and Sodapop: The Questions Begin
http://momandsodapop.blogspot.com/2011/05/questions-begin.html
Monday, May 9, 2011. I originally wanted this blog to be being a lesbian mom. But then, Sunshine was born the "Mom" part took over and there didn't seem to be much to say. It's been two years of diapers, milestones, exhaustion, cute stories. I haven't had to think too much about being part of a queer family. So, now Sunshine is 2.8. Tonight, lovely partner walks in and tells me that for the first time (that we know of) Sunshine said "I have Daddy? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). An Accident of Hope.

We have been contemplating our next moves. i saw our RE on wednesday (wow, that was yesterday! Dakota and i talked all night last night about which way to go now. Turning around →. November 22, 2009 · 10:24 pm. So how do we make change when we’re not big fans of sleep training and will absolutely not leave Squeak to cry? And if this doesn’t work, then I don’t know what next? Ducks may have to get involved in the night time parenting and some sleep training may be in order. What are the experiences of others? Les Make Babies: Religion
http://lesmakebabies.blogspot.com/2010/05/religion.html
I'm just a gay lady who was lucky enough to get pregnant - here's my story. Wednesday, May 5, 2010. Originally, my plan was to home-church. I had this basic idea in my head that there would be specific time set aside each week where we would talk about religion. I had in mind that I would cherry-pick the best parts of all religions and try to introduce these as principles to live by. So I’ve been doing some research and came across the United Church of Christ. I’m impressed! The picture is adorable!
