Alzheimer's Antidote - mutterings
http://filleardente.livejournal.com/44095.html
Sanctuary Amidst the Silicon. One Day. . . I just set up an evernote. Account. I'm excited about the concept and just maybe, in addition to remembering everything for me, learning how it works and what it does will grow me some new brain cells! S's tv program in the background. 6/2/09 05:56 pm (UTC). I'd be interested in how you get on, I'd given it a thought but have not had the time to spend to look at it. Powered by LiveJournal.com.

Sunday, November 19, 2006. India Night - Chicken with Ajwain in Makhani Gravy and Potatoes with Kadhai Spices. Tonight was India night.it about time we tried a theme based on a country outside the Western Hemisphere! The only think about India food is that it takes time! Things stew for something close to eternity- perfect for the crock pot, but unfortunately I was not that organized today. There was nothing in the kitchen as I got back from Japan yesterday. Note how empty the dish is below! 2 1/2 tsp ka...

Day of Sun - mutterings
http://filleardente.livejournal.com/43907.html
Sanctuary Amidst the Silicon. One Day. . . This has been two weekends in a row that friends were expected and the fog magically cleared just in time. This morning it cleared for us and lingered lower down. I love the feeling of being on a island above the fog. I hosted brunch for the Bitches today to celebrate Tina & Scott's engagement. What a great meal! Last night we attended a fundraiser at Long Branch Saloon & Farm. I was exhausted today around 4:00 pm after the early start, mimosas and great food...

Week Full of Kryptonite - mutterings
http://filleardente.livejournal.com/43369.html
Week Full of Kryptonite. Sanctuary Amidst the Silicon. One Day. . . Week Full of Kryptonite. Last Friday: 2 year anniversary with SK. Nice and low key celebration. Still not quite sure how two years have flown by so quickly. Feel like lucky girl who stumbled upon a lottery win. I have to admit I'm addicted to my new satellite DVR recorder! I haven't had true television in about 10 years and have never used anything like DVR/Tivo. It's wonderful! I absolutely LOVE fast-forwarding through commercials!

Asparagus Soup - Adventures in Eating Real Food: April 2009
http://adventuresineatingrealfood.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 25, 2009. Unfortunately, (almost) everyone at one time or another, relies on packaged food, whether the package is labeled Hostess or comes from a farmers' market. As a general rule, however, the more sustainable the packaging, the better the food. At one end of the packaging spectrum is vegetables from your garden. This produce, you should not be surprised to learn, does not come in a package. Perfect! Between each individual cookie lay a round piece of wax paper. Recyclable plastic....

Monday, March 30, 2009. Day 21 - Cereal, Falafel, Brisket. Watch The Beautiful Truth. 160;if you have not already done so (I have, as of Friday). From what I've read, it makes sense. Actually. Thank God we can cure cancer. Unfortunately, I was in a rush this morning, so I settled for an unadorned (besides the nonfat milk. 160;bowl of Trader Joe's 9 Whole Grains cluster somethings. I can't remember the name, as it's like the longest name of any cereal ever. 160;(use butter, trust me), salt and pepper.
