December 15, 2010. A week ago today we celebrated the life of my mom's dad Lloyd Rasmussen. He passed away Friday December 3, 2010 at his home, surrounded by his wife and 6 kids. Before I got home. Bummer. I have to count my blessings and be grateful my memories of him don't include him looking or being that sick. I am also very grateful that back in September I bought my plane ticket for December 4. Thanks Annie.So here it is, for safe keeping and family history. LLOYD M RASMUSSEN – THE EARLY YEARS.

January 18, 2011. One more Christmas decoration. I know it's late. This post anyways. The actual decoration was up before I left for California, but I barely had time to snap a few pictures let alone post them. August 31, 2011. We were lucky enough to go home this summer. We visited Utah for a week and a half, then I went to California while Alex went to Philly to work for a week or so, then met us back in California for a family reunion and a week of beach-housing (each have their own posts). Here are a few miscellaneous pictures from our stay in CA. Fun with Grandpa Jim. Fun with Grandma Suzy. He liked figuring out the gears and cranks above him, almost more than the ride itself. November 15, 2011. We had a fun and busy Halloween here, and I can't believe it happened a whole 2 weeks ago! October was crazy and we didn't even get our decorations up OR have a "Week of Halloween Costume Parade" like last year (If you missed it, or saw it but want to see it again check it our HERE. On Halloween night, we went trick-or-treating around this great little neighborhood full of townhomes, so the doors were seriously about 20 feet apart.
