I missed the first 20 minutes, since I decided to run a real time scenario on how much taking public transportation to H Street NE sucks red hot ass, but I managed to catch a lot of interesting discussion. Two-Timing the Cosmos: 2005-04-24

http://twotimingthecosmos.blogspot.com/2005_04_24_archive.html

Saturday, April 30, 2005. I just found out today that my Grandma is coming to my graduation! She and my mom were going to surprise me when they got here, but finding a non-ridiculous last-minute airfare necessitated telling me so I could do a little web surfing for them. Posted by Heather @ 11:06 PM. This is the cheese I bought at Giant two days ago. That's when I took a look at the date. The question now is: Do I take it back to the store? Who walks in with their cheese and asks for the manager? We migh...

Two-Timing the Cosmos: 2005-06-19

http://twotimingthecosmos.blogspot.com/2005_06_19_archive.html

Saturday, June 25, 2005. My books, in pictures. Earlier this week I was tagged by Chai. For a little 'what do you read' questionaire. I am a bona-fide book lover and secretly love to show off my books, even if I don't really have anything unusual or expensive. First, the questions; then, the pictures. Number of books I own:. Last book I bought:. Strangely, Just the Facts About Washington, D.C. Last book I read:. The Da Vinci Code. Five books that left a lasting impression:. 1 Chronicles of Narnia. Which ...

Friday, June 03, 2005. Which means I might actually get the iBook repaired this time, but also means I'll be staring at the walls for the next week. I'll compile some stories of my classmates who aren't maisnon, but are. Crazy, for you guys when I get back. I leave you with this story I was reminded of while talking to Quinn last night:. I asked him, and he said Quinn is actually his middle name. Do I have some strange "Robert" magnet? Posted by Heather @ 11:44 AM. Thursday, June 02, 2005. PPS Maisnon - ...

Subjective Negligence: And I'm employed.

http://subjectivenegligence.blogspot.com/2006/08/and-im-employed.html

Thursday, August 24, 2006. I have a job. Not in the "hey come work for us this Summer and we'll see how it goes" way, but the "Hey, we like you, we want you to come back here and work for us permanently" way. This is, by all accounts, totally sweet while at the same time being pretty awesome. I know now that I would've hated the other place with a fiery passion. Posted by Snubligent at 2:13 PM. Congratulations on your new job! Midwest, United States. View my complete profile. Barely Legal: The Blog.

Selfishness is a virtue: August 2005

http://howardroarklaughed.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html

Selfishness is a virtue. Sunday, August 14, 2005. Guest Blog, short story. I can put this story on paper today only because the three of us are healthier now and because there's no need for anyone to be afraid, for any of us. It wasn't always so. On this night, we were all willing to die, but none of us were brave enough to put it that way. We were cowards, the three of us. Posted by Quinn @ 12:20 AM. Washington, D.C., United States. Subjective Negligence: Background.

http://subjectivenegligence.blogspot.com/2006/12/background.html

Saturday, December 30, 2006. When I was in college, and I came home for the holidays/summers, I had a habit of driving around my home town. One day, I got my wish. My LSAT score wasn't good enough to get me into the public school here, but I figured I had a decent shot at another really good public school. This school wait-listed. When I got there, I figured I'd already sacrificed a year of my life, signed on for six figures worth of student loans, and left an amazing woman to give myself a shot at this ...

Subjective Negligence: Churchin'

http://subjectivenegligence.blogspot.com/2006/08/churchin.html

Sunday, August 27, 2006. There's a great quote from the movie "Saved! Which is actually a hilarious movie, and does a good job at showing the kind of religious hypocrisy I loathe). One of the characters throws a bible at someone, and the girl picks it up and says "This is not a weapon. idiot.". Posted by Snubligent at 12:52 PM. That line - it was worth watching the whole movie just for that line. I'm with you on the Church music thing too. And the search, actually, which is just long and painful.

Subjective Negligence: The life cycle of the 3L

http://subjectivenegligence.blogspot.com/2006/09/life-cycle-of-3l.html

Wednesday, September 27, 2006. The life cycle of the 3L. I have a pretty sweet schedule this quarter. No class on Thursday or Friday. So this is the beginning of my 4 day weekend. After work this Summer, school is a joke. Sure I'm in class like 4-5 hours a day, but man, I always have at least 1 hour (usually 4) in which I can screw around during the day. It's good to be a 3L. Posted by Snubligent at 9:40 PM. Good to hear your schedule leaves some goof off time for you! Midwest, United States.

Subjective Negligence: The Summer Gravy Train Rolls On.

http://subjectivenegligence.blogspot.com/2006/09/summer-gravy-train-rolls-on.html

Thursday, September 07, 2006. The Summer Gravy Train Rolls On. So I'm staying with girlfriend for a month before school starts. Fortunately, girlfriend's undergrad also has a law school that my firm recruits from. Even more fortunately the people who came to do OCI took myself and another summer who happened to be in town out to the nicest restaurant in the city. Five courses of deliciousness. Plus lunch today. Posted by Snubligent at 2:39 PM. Midwest, United States. View my complete profile.

Subjective Negligence: Fun with exams.

http://subjectivenegligence.blogspot.com/2006/12/fun-with-exams.html

Friday, December 08, 2006. First of all, I passed the MPRE, so that's good. Second of all, I took a final today, and that's not so good. At the beginning of the quarter the professor said "this is a difficult class," because "there is a right answer in this course." He said that unlike constitutional law, "you can't fake it" in here. And you know what? I think I dealt with it well though. We all remember that I had a friend who went to my 1L school and then transferred here as well? Midwest, United States.

Sometimes The Most Theological Thing I Can Do…. May 23, 2014. Click the Link to Play the Video. Sometimes the most theological thing I can do.is close my Bible and spend time with my son. Last week I preached on ‘personally relating to the personal God’. My main points;. We like to treat God as impersonal because it means He has no say on our life. God desires us to know Him so much that He sent His Son to die for us. In Matt 7 Jesus says this. Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you th...

Of Towers and Terrorists. November 29, 2016. Christ Sanctuary – 27th November 2016. We have here two stories with very little historical details to go by. The narrative is short and the details scant. Apparently this terrible event occurred in the province of Judea. Some Galilean Jews had gone into the temple to offer their worship. The Jewish nation at that time was occupied by the Romans. And the Romans felt they had to keep law and order there. On this particular special high holy day. October 3, 2016.
