Monday, November 05, 2007. Greetings from South Africa (Again). I am back here for work. I just missed the nasty rain so it is sunny and beautiful (23 today). Luckily, I was able to spend the weekend with Derryth’s parents and they took me to a really nice private game reserve called Tala. We saw tons of animals;. Grey Crane (national bird of SA and apparently quite rare). Rhinoceros (with a baby). Numerous different Herons including one eating a snake. Oh and we pissed off a Rhino and almost got charged.

Tuesday, May 31, 2005. Je Suis Back From Montreal. I even survived and was only totally embarrassed by my 'French' once. We shopped like we could afford it, walked until I wanted my feet amputated, ate great food and saw penguins. What more could one ask for? Angela saw a couple of people from the cast of Everwood and Liane and I totally missed Justin Trudeau even though we ate dinner near the hotel where his wedding reception was held. And we toured the new gym at Tampines and saw three separate gym classes of 30 students each with plenty of space to stretch and play a game involving dribbling basketballs and passing them to lit points on a $30,000 electronic game board. Although I'm not sure if this wall scoring maching was the best investment. More word problem mapping.
