Me and Mine: October 2011
http://carliekake.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Carlie K, wife, mother, daughter, know-it-all sister and friend. Is there more? Sunday, October 2, 2011. I cannot go to school today", said little Peggy Ann McKay. "I have the measles and the mumps, a gash a rash and purple bumps.". The problem with Peggy Ann's plan is. Being sick, sucks! This time around I preferred the floor to my bed to writhe around, which meant the remote didn't have line of sight to the TV, and I couldn't use it without getting out of my preferred ball. Also, have you ever. Taylor,...

Richard and Gloria’s Adventures : August 2014
http://richardandgloriasadventures.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Richard and Gloria’s Adventures. Friday, August 15, 2014. Missionaries Work, Work, Work! I have often said one of the greatest secrets of missionary work is work! Work, work, work-there is no substitute! President Ezra Taft Benson in Preach My Gospel) These sister work very hard. I felt I needed to post about the work. Usually we are too busy to take pictures unless we are having a birthday, breakfast or farewell celebration. However, I wanted to show the work done in the Mesa Temple Visitors' Center!

Richard and Gloria’s Adventures : May 2014
http://richardandgloriasadventures.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Richard and Gloria’s Adventures. Thursday, May 22, 2014. May Was Filled With Many Wonderful Activities and Celebrations! The Dana Ward brought their ward council with their families to enjoy a Family Home Evening at the Visitors' Center. They came to learn how they can use this amazing facility to accomplish missionary work. We all have the same goal, to bring all Unto Christ. It was a great learning experience. Bishop Eyring with about 40 members of the ward, and missionaries. Sisters Avanesjan and Grow...

Richard and Gloria’s Adventures : December 2014
http://richardandgloriasadventures.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Richard and Gloria’s Adventures. Tuesday, December 2, 2014. November has been Eventful! A few miscellaneous things before we leave November for the December happenings. We needed some bonding. Planned a Monday P-day early morning movie of Ephraim's Rescue. The missionaries are in two teams and do not get together often for an activity. We feel very lucky to be here in Mesa serving our mission and to have been here for two Temple dedications, Gilbert and Phoenix. Currently this is the 144th working temple.
Me and Mine: I Guess Size Does Matter
http://carliekake.blogspot.com/2011/11/i-guess-size-does-matter.html
Carlie K, wife, mother, daughter, know-it-all sister and friend. Is there more? Friday, November 4, 2011. I Guess Size Does Matter. Anyway. Recently I learned, SIZE DOES IN FACT MATTER! Yes, the first size worthy thing that has ever intimidated me. The Count of Monte Cristo. All 1,462 pages of it. And the print, tiny, tiny, tiny and smudged and tiny. Too big and too small all in one binding. So, in the great debate of size I guess my hubby is right. Size does matter! Labels: The Count of Monte Cristo.

Not sure what to say. I thought about a bunch of different things- themes, if you will. Still haven't come up with anything, but, I think, I'm just going to go for it. Otherwise, this blog is going to become incredibly outdated. Monday, June 21, 2010. Now, obviously, we can’t talk of Africa in any sort...

Two Years at a Time. Tuesday, August 11, 2015. If you've visited this blog recently, you know that Marlene, AG and I have decided to move to Texas in order to have a more "normal" life. We are winding up our time here in Ecuador and by the end of August will be living at the Sugar Shak and settling into new jobs while looking for a house to buy. Wednesday, July 1, 2015.
