My husband and son. Monday, December 22, 2008. Wow, it's been a while! It has been forever since I've written anything. Time FLIES it seems these days. Shanewell, he's Shane. Ups and downs. He's an incredible kid with a giant heart. He's got so much in his past that you'd think he has every right to hate the world, but he doesn't. He is loving and giving and a sweet boy. My husband and son. Tuesday, November 27, 2007. So, this was our first Thanksgiving together, and I had visions of grandeur as usual. We were off to Arkansas for Shane to meet his Aunt Kathy, and Uncle Don for the first time. Steve's mom is an excellent cook, so I was sure this was going to be a meal that Shane would NOT forget (as well as the 9 hour drive to get there.). Of course, in any other situation, such as how much time he gets to watch TV, or how long we will be staying at the pool, and hour is "like only 30 seconds! There are days that you think you just can't take any more when your child is having behavior problems, and then there are tiny things that happen, that make all those feels wash away. As we were getting ready for school this morning, it was an okay day.
