After about a week of having Caroline wake up every hour or so (and she hasnt been a really good sleeper from the start anyways) we decided it was time to try a little CIO. I want to keep a log of our progress so here goes:. 7:27 pm - After soothing bedtime routine of bath, book, nursing and lullaby, Caroline is in her crib. 7:41 pm - Asleep. 10:22 pm - Awake. 10:50 pm - Asleep again. 1:17 am - Awake, nurse. 1:44 am - Asleep. 4:30 am - Awake, nurse.

Sunday, October 31, 2010. We welcomed Caroline Louise Horne into the world on October 6 at 6:47 am. She was 7 lbs 8 oz and 20.5” long. Thursday, April 29, 2010. Ducks in the Pool! Last night as we were cleaning up the dishes from dinner – Kenneth glanced out the window and noticed two ducks swimming around in our pool! 160; We ran for the camera and a couple pieces of bread for Sarah. Tuesday, June 1, 2010. After a very hectic last couple of weeks it’s finally summer vacation! 160; We are here near Mobile, Alabama visiting Kenneth where he is working. We arrived late Saturday night after a very quiet drive (Sarah watched some movies, read some books, and took a nap). Sunday we attempted to drive to Gulf Shores but were thwarted by heavy thunderstorms. Yesterday we scoped out the area and made a quick trip to Wal-Mart for some supplies. Don't judge, I'm only two. Daddy and I race when he gets home. My four wheeler is LIGHTNING fast! Why didn't I know about this sooner? Mama says I look so much older in this picture. My answer? Tractor rides with Daddy at sunset. What could be better? The Perot Museum had TONS of cool stuff. Did you know paper blocks could fly?

January 31, 2013. Crockpot Pork Chops with mashed potatoes. Aren't you proud of me for posting so much this week? I feel productive. :). This recipe has been in my monthly meal rotation for almost a year now. It's delish and incredibly easy. The gravy created in the crockpot is heavenly, too! I love the way my house smells when I cook these chops. I threw my *frozen* pork chops in the crockpot about noon and they were ready by 5. Awesome, right? But I only changed the mashed potatoes. Does that count?

August 19, 2013. Family Beach Trip 2013. Luke, here. I know it's the middle of August and my post isn't due yet.but I couldn't wait! We had a BLAST at the beach!
