Wednesday, June 17, 2009. The Fairy Hunt has begun! Just a few days ago we discovered a fairy door and lantern in a tree in our garden. C is beside herself with delight! Last night she left it a dollar! But in the morning it was still there. She is assuming it is not a toothfairy. ;) Can't wait to see the adventures the fairy will bring this summer! Baker Hotel on track for opening in 2017. More about the Baker. William A. A. (Bigfoot) Wallace surveyed the frontier in 1837 and may have been the first white in the area that is now Palo Pinto County. In 1856 the Texas State Legislature established Palo Pinto County from lands formerly assigned to Bosque and Navarro counties.
